The lifeline 'Securope' is constructed from stainless steel wire rope, offering the following advantages: Safety: The worker is protected from falls along the whole length of the line, and does not need to disconnect when passing between separate, adjacent anchoring sections. The cable is continous from end to end , and it is impossible to slacken the cable after installation. The anchors do not deform, and are able to support falls without the need for replacement.Approved by APAVE Sudeurope-certificate 204611358. Reduction of the loading on supporting structures: The line is designed to supportup to 4 persons, with a distance of up to 12 meters between two successive anchors. Two energy absorption devices are provided for he intermediate and end anchors. The loads on the building structure are limited to about 10 to 15 kNn depending on the configuration of the line, and based on computer software calculations. Minimal maintenance: The component parts are made out of stainless steel 316L(marine). In the event of a fall, a cable re-tensioning is all that is required. No replacement of anchors or other components is required.

Esthetics: The line consists of only 3 individual castings. No un-esthetics tensioners, plates, tubes or other componentsare required. Versatility: The line can be installed on the ground, or to a wall or ceilling.The line can be mounted directly on the structure, to concrete or brick, to steel profiles or on a suitable suport.: Speed of installation: A single continous cable is used from one end to the other. No specific component parts are needed for curved sections.The cable is held in place by intermediate anchors placed at both ends of a curved section.
