Plymovent mobile electrostatic filters EMK-1600 very efficiently solve the problems of welding fumes, dust and smaller particles. Use them for those intensely hazardous jobs that can occur anywhere in the workshop. A perfect complement to your Plymovent fixed extraction system.

The EMK filters particles down to 0.005um (0.000005mm) in two stages. Particles which pass through the pre-filter are charged with 12000V  in the ionizing cell. These are then separted in the collection cell at a voltage of 6000V. The cleaned air is discharged up-wards from the unit. A third stage in the filtration process can be carried out by an activated carbon filter which can be fitted after the collection cell.

• Supplied with the KUA extraction arm, either 2m, 3m or 4m in length. (It is also available with 2 extraction arms).
• For use with single phase 230V supply.
• Equipped with a transformer to enable a halogen lamp cartridge to be fitted in the hood.
• Available with alarm. When the fi lter is full an alarm signal sounds and the
  fan stops after about 20 seconds. The fi lter must now be cleaned before it
  can be used again.
• Low noise level – < 70 dB(A) at a distance of 1 metre.
• Stability is assured due to robust legs.
