The ESS Flight Deck TM goggle is the only commercial goggle authorized by the US Navy for use on flight desk, and is standard issue for the Australian Navy. Featuring the patented Speed-ClipTM system for quick strap adjustment, the Flight Deck TM is designed for comfortable, all-day use with cranial-style helmets. The roomy Flight Deck TM frame fits over most eyeglasses.
Frame :
- Grey frame features extra-soft face padding for superior comfort and a tight, sealed fit
- Full-perimeter ventilation and filtration system allows humidity to escape while filtering out airborne particles, dust and splashes
- Fit comfortably over most prescription eyewear
- Increased peripheral vision far superior to the Sun, Wind and Dust Goggle
Lenses:
- Clear and Smoke Gray 2.8mm Polycarbonate high-impact lenses included
- Lenses feature ESS ClearZone TM anti-fog and anti-scratch lens coatings
- Lenses are highly impact resistant and exceed ANSI Z87.1-2003+ and US Military .22 calibre ballistic impact test MIL-V-435 II C
- All lenses provide 100% UVA / UVB protection and precise optical clarity for distortion-free vision
- ESS Modular Technology TM allows all lenses to be quickly and inexpensively interchanged.
- Laser Protective Lenses (LPLs) available for the most commonly used laser wavelengths
Strap System :
- 26mm-wide, high-memory elastic strap system features quick-adjust slides
- Patented SpeedClip TM strap system is ideal for cranial helmets, making strap adjustment quick and easy
Rx Insert :
- Prescription lenses can be fit by any optometrist into the StrikerTM Rx Insert, which installs inside the goggle frame
Includes : Two 2.4 mm polycarbonate high-impact lenses (Clear & Smoke Gray).
